Direct Rendering in VMWare 5

알 수 없는 사용자 2006. 6. 5. 10:59
I've been trying to convince my dad to give up winblows and make the gentoo switch. I installed to VMWare Workstation 5 with windows xp as host. The Pc is Dell Dimension 2400, little over 1gig ram, on board video (no agp or pci-e but will be ordering FX5200 256Mb pci within the week ) New hd is on the way so a legitimate install is in the works, in the meantime however, I can't seem to get direct rendering working. I'm going to post my log and dmesg, also my xorg.conf It's not really a big deal since full install is inevitable, I'm doing this more for the experience now. Any suggestions would be appreciated.dmesg:
